City of Providence Awards Health Benefits Contract to UnitedHealthcare
PROVIDENCE, RI (October 14, 2008) : UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company has been awarded a three-year contract to administer the health insurance benefits for the City of Providence employees, retirees and their families. The contract, approved today by the city Board of Contract and Supply, is expected to provide significant savings to the city during the course of the contract and will do so without a change in the benefits that are in place today.
